China's detaining thousands of muslims in the Xinjiang region

It is worth noting that no muslim country is complaining or accusing Chinese to be islamophobes. Not a word, no riots or burning Chines embassies, or the Chinese flag or boycotting the imports of their prayers rugs between other things. Not even the Organization of Islamic Conference bringing the matter to the United Nations. Nothing, on the contrary, complete silence, or rather keeping their mouth shut. The reason is simple, they know that China don't play games with islam.

This is what we always say, Islam is like a coil spring, you have to keep your foot on it, otherwise it'll jump in your face. No need to say more.

China has tightened controls on Muslims in its remote west ahead of the Olympic torch's arrival next week to thwart any actions aimed at disrupting the relay, residents and exiles said.

The measures include detaining thousands in the Xinjiang region and forcing Muslim religious officials to undergo "political education" on "protecting" the Olympics, said Dilxat Raxit, spokesman for the Germany-based World Uighur Congress.

With the Beijing Olympic torch expected in Xinjiang on its nationwide tour, authorities have also confiscated the passports of some Muslims, Uighurs told AFP.

"They are afraid people might travel abroad and join some sort of plot against the Olympics," said a college-educated Uighur woman in her twenties, whose passport was taken by police here earlier this year.

Beijing says it faces a separatist Muslim terror threat in Xinjiang, a vast region of deserts and stunning mountain ranges which is home to more than eight million Uighurs, a Central Asian people who have long chafed under Chinese control.

In recent months China has said several Xinjiang-based terror plots have been smashed, including some specifically aimed at the August 8-24 Olympics.

Uighurs dismiss such claims as political cover for what they call decades of repression and policies aimed at extinguishing their culture.

Beijing Olympic organizers recently said the sensitive Xinjiang torch leg would take place June 17-19, a week earlier than planned. But officials would not disclose up-to-date plans amid confusion surrounding sensitive relay legs following violent unrest in Tibet in March.

Activity in Kashgar, an oasis city on the ancient Silk Road, appeared normal at the weekend, with Muslim men quietly streaming in and out of the Id Kah mosque. There was no obvious police presence.

Several Uighurs told AFP they welcomed the torch and disputed suggestions anyone would try to disrupt it.

"The Olympic torch has never been to our city. We are very proud," said a Kashgar taxi driver named Yusup.

The crackdown triggered an attack with rocks and petrol bombs by Uighurs on a police station in the town of Sangong in late May, Raxit said previously.

Local police confirmed the attack when contacted by AFP, but refused further comment.

When the West learn from China, that's when Westerners will get their countries back.

that is correct Ibn, when the west get this easy truth that one can never turn one's back on a person who believes that every word in a Bible from Hell is the perfect truth ,and that truth says that God loves the cold blooded murders of innocent people, can often be a very good and holy thing to do,( which this God will reward you handsomely with lots of free sex), you and yours will soon die by violence, and/or a broken heart. Anyone who trusts a man who believes strongly in the Koran is a potential murderer - now that the world is a little smarter, thanks to Ben Lauden, you will have a hard time finding anybody who still hates the Crusaders - those Catholic saints of long ago, who saved the world over qnd over again from the Muslims - for in order to survive, the westerners who protested against the Catholic Crusaders, have had to become the new Crusaders! "To the gates! Let none of the savages get within a mile of the woman and the children!"

Honestly, I thought this theme was obvious and that it would have gathered steam by now. As it is, very few have written on this topic, and this article is still on the first Google results page for a search on "china" and "jihad".
Muslims are nothing to China. With a West fallen by Islam, there is nothing between China and world conquest. There are more Chinese than Muslims, they are far more advanced technologically, and they are just as angry and much more coordinated than Muslims.

This theme needs to be broadcast to the fullest if Muslims are going to "get it." Maybe they will realize the need for a 50 year hudna with the civilized world.
